Press Release: Kenya Airways Partners with Joramco for Heavy Maintenance Services on its B787 Aircraft

Amman,Jordan -  Joramco, the Amman based MRO and the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), and Kenya Airways, the flag carrier airline of Kenya, have signed a heavy maintenance agreement for the first time to perform OOP check for five B787 from the carrier’s fleet in addition to major modification tasks related to upgrading IFE wiring system and Oxygen Modules PSUs. Joramco has successfully delivered five aircraft between May and June.

The collaboration between the two organizations provides an excellent opportunity for skills and knowledge transfer in Maintenance Repair & Overhaul, an area we consider important to our business as we are a maintenance hub for different operators in the African region” said Evans Kihara – Technical Director at Kenya Airways.
